I have been diagnosed with ADHD, is Multiply Coaching still able to work with me?

This is a question we have been asked several times and the resounding answer is “Yes”.

Often ADHD is seen as a negative - with various symptoms of inattention such as: being easily distracted, making careless mistakes and then hyperactivity, including trouble sitting still or interrupting people.

The positives of ADHD aren’t widely shared.

People who have been diagnosed with ADHD often have above average creativity, and can make connections between ideas that others may miss.

This makes them a valuable member of any team, along with their hyperfocus, which means they can get absorbed in a task for hours, just as easily as getting distracted for hours.

Coaching (along with talking therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) for individuals diagnosed with ADHD can help them achieve objectives and make the most use of their unique qualities.

When we look at the team strengths of an organisation where one or more people have ADHD, it helps others appreciate the strengths those individuals can bring, and how to work together to bring out the best for the organisation.

If you are concerned that you may have ADHD, or have recently been diagnosed, https://adhduk.co.uk/ is a great website to start finding out information.
