Procrastination

"Studies show that the higher our fear of failure, the more likely we are to procrastinate."

So what can we do to reduce procrastination- especially with those important deadlines?

1. Imagine what words of encouragement you would give to a friend in a similar situation.

2. Break the projects down into smaller, more achievable chunks, and give yourself small rewards for getting each chunk done. This maybe a 10 minute coffee break or a 15 minute walk, or whatever suits you.

3. Be accountable to others- you are much more likely to achieve your goal if you speak about it to others. This is why having a business coach is a preferred option for many top leaders. It helps them achieve goals and multiply their effectiveness.
