Procrastination

Have you ever started something and not finished it?

I

have.

From books that I started reading to exercise plans, to languages I tried to learn, to tasks I fully intended to complete.

We all start out with the best of intentions, but hit obstacles on the way- other important things creep in or we just get bogged down with all the other tasks we need to do.

So how can we achieve all the things we set out to achieve?

Be realistic. Many of us struggle to say no, and therefore end up taking on way too much, disappointing people, exhausting ourselves or missing important jobs. Learn to say no. Learn that if you say yes to this activity, you will be saying no to something else.

Get help from others. Do you really need to do that task? You may be able to delegate it or leave it completely. We often do things because we have always done it.

Get a mentor or coach. Especially if you are busy and time is tight. Mentors ands Coaches help us set our eyes on what is really important and plan ways to effectively do our jobs.
